Mike Noble of AIT speaks to South View High School students

South View High School students toured Advance Internet Technology (AIT) on October 23, 2018. We learned the operations and the various careers in the company. This knowledge allowed us to be abreast on the skills needed in the Internet Technology (IT) industries.  AIT, Inc. has customers from over 130 countries!   AIT has computer programmers, engineers, administrative assistants, and web page designers busy at work daily. They communicate with clients through Skype, chat boxes, and emails. AIT is one of the longest standing Internet technology providers in the world with costumers ranging from small to medium sized companies. Helping customers with webpage design and templates for layouts thus making designing easier for their clients.

Mike Noble of AIT stated that high school students are allowed to job shadow in the company. To have this valuable opportunity and first-hand knowledge allows students to make better career choices in IT industries. Mr. Noble also stated the importance of having various IT Certifications, which makes potential employees more marketable in the workplace. In the IT industry you must be willing to always learn something new.  Knowledge is power!  IT is found everywhere and used every day in solving issues in the workplace. Don’t be afraid of learning new technology because it is always changing.
