Interested youth can complete the Summer Internship Application 2018 Application deadline has been extended to April 16, 2018There are many benefits of work-based learning for young people and the employer. Our youth use internships to determine if they have an interest in a particular career, create a network of contacts, and to gain valuable work experience. From an employer perspective, the commitment to hire one youth creates an opportunity to prepare and train future employees, improve employee retention and increase employer visibility in education. A healthy, well-trained workforce is the most valuable asset at any company, and by hiring our youth, you will be planting seeds for future employees loyal to your company. Business partners who would like to host an intern should use the following link to complete the Worksite Request Form 2018 Please direct all questions to Nore Brantley, High School to Work Partnership Coordinator at norebrantley@ccs.k12.nc.us or 910-864-5438 ext 759.
