Mission

The mission of Career and Technical Education is to help empower students for effective participation in a global economy as world-class workers and citizens.

2012-2013 Goal

78.4% of the CTE students will score a Level II (Proficiency) on the CTE Postassessments.

 Goals for 2012-2013

• Establish an intentional focus on alignment between CTE Essential Standards and Common Core Standards for English Language Arts and Mathematics.
• Increase the number of students graduating with a concentration in a focused career cluster and industry recognized credentials.
• Provide co-curricular opportunities to all CTE students through Career and Technical Student Organizations and Work-Based Learning activities.
• Provide relevant professional development aligned to 21^st Century curriculum, instruction, and technology.
